Hong Kong is a famous Asian international city and the capital of film and television entertainment. It enjoys the reputation of "Pearl of the East" and "Oriental Hollywood". Hong Kong Film enjoys a high reputation in the world, with mature industrial system, solid foundation and broad prospects for globalization. The 14th Five-Year Plan of the People's Republic of China has for the first time included Hong Kong's cultural status in the national plan to support Hong Kong's development as China & Foreign Cultural and Art Exchange Center, brought unprecedented opportunities for the development of Hong Kong's culture and art industries, and the film and cultural industry has bright and promising prospects.

香港国际青年电影节是香港国际青年电影节协会主办的最重要的年度品牌活动之一。香港国际青年电影节立足港澳、背靠祖国、面向全球，以“赋能青年，点亮未来”为主旨，以“主题展示，社交互动”为特色，致力于为全球青年电影人提供国际影视交流、学习、合作与展示的平台，推动和促进全球范围内青年电影人才的艺术创作与发展。电影节已于2019年8月、2020年11月、2021年11月在港澳特区成功举办三届，经过多年培育发展，活动趋品牌化、规模化、规范化，逐渐成为全球青年电影人参与的年度电影盛事，持续推动青年及华语电影事业高质量发展，为港澳经济多元发展、国家电影强国建设做贡献。

香港国际青年电影节协会坚持高点站位、树立全球视野，适应国家文化经济发展形势及国际形势新变化，在本届香港国际年电影节设置如下创新单元，以此面向全球展示真实、立体、全面的中国，塑造可信、可爱、可敬的中国形象。

The Hongkong International Youth Film Festival Association adheres to a high position, establishes a global vision, and adapts to the national cultural and economic development situation and new changes in the international situation. The following innovative units are set up in the festival, so as to show a real, three-dimensional and comprehensive China to the world and create a credible, lovely and respectable image of China.

2. 奖项设置 Award setting

Film and television works are the art of collective creation, which needs the close cooperation of various departments and types of work. Professionals in front and behind the scenes are equally concerned. It covers all Type Films and Participants from different divisions, such as Directors, Producers, Screenwriters, actors, Photographers, Editors, Special effects, Art Directors, Music Directors, Cloth Designers, Make-up, Lighting Engineers, Prop-Artists and Casting Directors, etc. The festival provides an opportunity for the professionals in front of the stage and behind the scenes. We encourage and stimulate the creative enthusiasm of young practitioners.

奖项设置包括影片奖项、个人奖项及团队奖项三类

Award setting includes Film Awards, Individual Awards and Team Awards

影片奖项包括入围奖、优秀奖、最佳奖

Film awards include official selection award, excellent award and best award

个人奖项包括导演、制片人、编剧、演员、摄影、剪辑、特效、美术、音乐、服装、化妆、灯光、道具及选角导演等

Individual awards include director, producer, screenwriter, actor, photography, editing, special effects, art, music, clothing, make-up, lighting, props and casting director

团队奖项包括优秀团队奖，最佳新团队、最佳团队将等

Team awards include excellent team award, best new team award, best team award, etc. 

另设单位组织奖及学生作品指导教师奖

In addition, there will be organization award and student work instructor award

3. 作品申报要求 Qualifications

1）作品于2017年6月30日当日及以后，2022年6月30日当日及以前，五年期间内完成。报名作品需配有中英文双语字幕。

The works submitted shall be finished during on or after June 30th, 2017 to June 30th, 2022, which shall be with double language subtitles of Chinese and English.

2) 作品视频、剧照、海报、主创人员近照、其他详细资料及签字/盖章的申报表格等应按主办方要求提交，申报方同意并授权电影节组委会有权无偿使用申报方提交的所有素材、以及电影节活动过程中的图片、音视频素材和其他与电影节活动相关的素材用于对本电影节活动、和申报方及参会人员的宣传，而非其他商业用途。如需展映，需另行签署协议。

Videos, stills, posters, information of the filmmakers and submission forms with signatures or seals shall be submitted under the request of the organizer. The applicant agrees and authorizes the Organizing Committee of the festival to use the propaganda materials for free for the promotion of the festival and the film, not for other commercial purposes. In case of exhibition, the copyright owner shall sign a separate agreement with organizer.

3）作品申报方应拥有作品的全部版权或持有版权方授权许可证明，因申报方作品著作权(版权)、商标权及其他任何知识产权所产生的任何法律纠纷、经济损失或任何其他损失主办方免责，由此给主办方带来的经济和名誉等损失，申报方应依法全额赔偿；申报方应确保作品的投递符合其所在国家/地区的法律、法规要求，因申报方违反其所在国家/地区的法律、法规所产生的任何法律纠纷、经济损失以及其他任何损失，主办方免责，因此给主办方带来的经济和名誉等损失，申报方应依法全额赔偿。

The applicant of works shall own the whole copyright of it or get the permit license from the copyright holder. The organizer shall be exempted from liability for any legal disputes, economic losses or any other losses arising from the copyright(trademark rights) and any other intellectual property rights of the works from the applicant, and the applicant shall compensate the organizer in full according to law for the economic and reputation losses caused to the organizer; The applicant ensures that the submission of works shall meet the requirements of the laws and regulations of the Country/Region in which it is located. The Organizer shall be exempted from liability for any legal disputes, economic losses and any other losses arising from that the applicant violates the laws and regulations of the Country/Region in which it is located, and the applicant shall compensate the organizer in full according to law for the economic and reputation losses caused to the organizer.

报名费不退，费用不含短片放映、影片展映及电影节现场活动入场费用。

Submission Fee is Non-refundable. Shorts screening，Film screening and Admission Fee on the festival dates is not included.

Note: Registration, submission or participation in the film festival is deemed to accept all the above terms, contents and other processes and arrangements, which is subject to the final revision (if any). In case of any ambiguity between Chinese and English, the Chinese version shall prevail. The Hongkong International Youth Film Festival Association and Organizing Committee hold the rights of final interpretation and final decision on all matters.
