标识征集活动的通知
为深入推进校园文化内涵建设，不断浓郁办学国际化氛围，扩大我校来华留学教育、中外合作办学等品牌影响力，现面向全体师生及校友征集江南大学国际教育学院标识。
In order to further promote the construction of campus cultural connotation, continuously enrich the international atmosphere of univeristy, and expand the brand influence of our school such as overseas study education and sino-foreign cooperative education, we are now collecting the logo of School of International Education of Jiangnan University from all teachers, students and alumni.

作品要求
Requirements
1．作品：主题突出、风格新颖、简洁大方、识别度高。能较好体现办学国际化特点，契合“笃学尚行、止于至善”校训精神。应征者需提交作品电子图稿（JPG格式），图案像素色彩模式为RGB色，图片分辨率300dpi以上，同时保留设计原图（AI、CDR、PSD等），以便获奖后进一步提供。
Works: topic-prominent, novel, elegant, highly recognizable. It can better reflect the characteristics of internationalization of the school and conform to the spirit of the school motto of "Learning and Practicing unto Perfection". Applicants are required to submit electronic drawings (JPG format), pattern pixel color mode is RGB color, image resolution is above 300dpi, while keeping the original design (AI, CDR, PSD, etc.), so as to provide further materials if necessary.
2．附件：应征者需提交包含设计理念、作品涵义等内容的文字说明一份（200-300字）及个人简介一份（200字以内，含手机号码等有效联系方式），另附近期正面免冠照片一张。
Attachments: Applicants are required to submit a text description (200-300 words) containing the design concept, the meaning of the work, and a recent full face photo, and a personal profile (less than 200 words, including mobile phone number and other valid contact information) .
应征者需于3月25日前将作品及附件（电子稿）打包发送至邮箱isac@jiangnan.edu.cn。邮件主题、附件名称均以“院标+作者姓名”命名。应征作品不予退还，请自留底稿。
Applicants should send the works and attachments to mailbox: isac@jiangnan.edu.cn before March 25. The subject of the email and the name of the attachment shall be named as "School logo + author name". Works will not be returned, please keep your own manuscripts.

Matters need attention
所有作品均须原创，不得侵犯已有知识产权。一旦涉及抄袭等侵权行为，由作者本人独立承担一切后果并取消参赛资格。最终优胜及入围作品，其著作权、使用权等相关权利归江南大学国际教育学院所有，获奖个人或团体不得擅自使用作品或将其转让第三方。
All works must be original and must not infringe existing intellectual property rights. In case of plagiarism or other infringement, the author shall bear all consequences and be disqualified from the competition. School of International Education of Jiangnan University owns the copyright and right of use of the winning and shortlisted works. The winning individual or group shall not use the works without authorization or transfer them to a third party.

江南大学自1964年起招收和培养国际学生，是教育部批准的首批招收来华留学生的57所高校之一、中国第一批扩大接收外国留学生的院校之一、较早开始接收中国政府奖学金生的院校之一、江苏省4所招收外国留学生高等院校之一（1977年）和留学江苏目标培育学校。
学校坚持提质增效与高质量发展的来华留学工作宗旨。2020年，共接收国际学生719人，其中学历生516人。迄今已培养博硕士研究生、本科生、交流交换生、进修生等不同层次近万名国际学子，其中不乏教育家、科学家、政界人士、企业精英等代表性人物。目前，学校开设全英文授课专业本科层次4个、硕士层次9个、博士层次7个，获批部省级全英文授课精品课程9门。
学校紧密围绕“建设特色鲜明的研究型大学”战略目标，积极打造具有较强学科特色、地域特征、国际影响的“留学江南”高等教育品牌。与来自欧洲、美洲、大洋洲等国家的知名学府开展合作办学；邀请非物质文化遗产传承人开授惠山泥人、留青竹刻、太湖船点、锡剧、古琴、刺绣、微雕、剪纸、糖画等课程；举办一年一度的外国人汉语演讲大赛、国际美食文化节、中外学生新年联欢晚会等。
逾半百光阴筚路蓝缕，携数辈英才砥砺前行，历经多年的积淀与沿革，2005年，崭新的江南大学国际教育学院在太湖之畔宣告成立。国际教育学院作为全校国际学生招收、培养、管理服务与校友工作的统筹负责部门，下辖院党委办公室、行政办公室、招生工作办公室、教学服务中心、学生事务中心、中外合作办学办公室、对外联络办公室、国际中文教育中心等。学院就招生、教务、签证、住宿、财务、奖学金、入学与法制教育、学生活动、就业与校友工作等设置专岗；聘请专兼职教师承担汉语、中国概况等课程教学任务。
学校为来华留学优质生源和拔尖在校生提供中国政府奖学金、留学江苏政府奖学金、国际中文教师奖学金、校长奖学金、太湖奖学金、龚铁城奖学金、上海商业储蓄银行奖学金等，推动奖学奖优，营造良好氛围；建有设施完备的学习、生活场地。国际学生的身影闪现在图书馆、实验室、田径场、报告厅、志愿服务、社团活动等校园各个角落。连年荣获江苏省来华留学生教育先进集体称号；获全国来华留学生时装设计大赛唯一金奖、“学在中国”留学生演讲比赛优胜奖等荣誉。

Since 1964, Jiangnan University has begun enrolling and cultivating international students, and it is one of the first group of 57 colleges in China which enrol international students, one of the first group of universities which expands the enrolment of foreign students, one of the earlier universities offering Chinese Governmental Scholarship, one of the 4 higher institutions enrolling international students in Jiangsu Province (1977) and a target cultivation university of Studying in Jiangsu.
The university insists on improving quality as well as efficiency, alongside high-quality development in the field of International Students Admission and Cultivations. In 2020, it enrolled 719 international students, among whom 516 sought degrees. So far, it has cultivated thousands of students at levels ranging from PhDs, master degrees, bachelor degrees, visiting students and language learners, among whom there are representative figures such as educators, scientists, politicians, business elite. At present, the university boasts 4 undergraduate courses, 9 graduate courses and 7 postgraduate courses taught in English, as well as 9 excellent English courses authorised by MOE and Jiangsu Province.
With the strategical goal of “building a research-oriented university of distinctive features” as its core, the university actively seeks to establish the higher education brand of “Study in Jiangnan” with strong disciplinary features, regional features and international impact. It has collaborated with well-known educational institutions from European, American and Oceanian countries. It has invited non-material cultural heritage inheritors to give courses on Huishan clay figures, Liuqing bamboo carving, Wuxi local drama, guqin musical instrument, embroidery, miniature, paper-cutting and sugar-painting. It holds annual events such as Foreigners’ Chinese Speaking Competition, International Food and Culture Festival, and Chinese and Foreign Students’ New Year Party.
With half a century's hard work, it brings forward generations of talents. After years of accumulation and evolution, the brand of new School of International Education(SIE) of Jiangnan University was established at the lakeside of Taihu in 2005. As the department responsible for integrating the admission, cultivation and administration of international students in the entire university as well as alumni affairs, it has these branches: Party Committee Office, Executive Office, International Admissions Office, International Teaching Supporting Center, International Students Affairs Center, International Collaborative Education Office, International Liation Office and International Chinese Language Teaching Center etc. SIE has specific positions dealing with admission, academic affairs, visa, lodging, finance, scholarship, orientation and legal education, student activity, alumni affairs, with specialized project supervisors and counsellors. There are also full-time and part-time teachers responsible for teaching Chinese language and national conditions.
The university provides top international students, both prospective and current, with Chinese Government Scholarship, Jiangsu Provincial Scholarship, International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, President’s Scholarship, Taihu Scholarship, Gong Tiecheng Scholarship, The Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank Scholarship and so on, so as to attract talents, promote the distribution of scholarship to the best students, and create a sound atmosphere for study. The university builds well-equipped dormitories for international students and modern sites for their study and life. They can be seen in every corner of the university, such as library, labs, stadiums and volunteer and community services. SIE has been successively awarded with Jiangsu’s Leading Education Organization for International Students. And our students have won numerous awards, including the "one and only" Gold Medal of International Students Fashion Design Competition in China and the Outstanding Award of Chinese Language Speech Competition for International Students Studying in China.
Among the ESI comprehensive ranking list, Jiangnan University ranks 57 in China. Among the list of Assessment on Chinese Universities issued by the Chinese Academy of Management Science, Jiangnan University ranks 45. And it assumes the 39th position among all Chinese universities directly under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, according to the list of the Internationalization Level of Chinese Universities delivered by Southwest Jiaotong University.
